We're in Eugene now, staying with Joy and Maggie for a few nights. Claire just graduated from high school and is in New York City with her cousin Kate. We're sorry we'll miss her this time around -- we'll catch her on our way back down from Canada.

Russ & Erin, great having you enjoy us in Sunriver for a week! We appreciate your flexibility, and not just because you can do the splits; staying in a house with 7 kids requires tolerance, humor, and earplugs, all of which you have mastered. We had a safe, beautiful drive home, with a full day of rain in Ashland with a couple bright, warm, sunny intersticials during which we enjoyed a luau at Grizzly Peak Winery. We missed the first annual Ashland Authors and Publishers show at SOU, but hopefully next year you'll have your own book there! Drive carefully and keep up the good work on the blog.
